Meet John, Amy, Kaitlin, and Victoria! We had a great session in the park the other day. We came very close to moving it into the studio because it had been raining earlier in the day. (And several days prior!) But, as if on cue, the rain stopped, the sky brightened, and we were able to get this wonderful image of the family in front the pond at Cannon Hill Park, (otherwise known as Diane Maehl's very own personal outdoor studio!)Today I heard that the locals are referring to this month as "June-uary" As much as I wish summer were officially here, I have to admit I haven't seen the park this green in quite some time. Combine that with the blooming dogwood trees, nice soft light from the clouds overhead, and great subjects, and you have the makings of a beautiful portrait!
